Exciting news for chocolate lovers and history buffs alike! A major motion picture, simply titled "HERSHEY", is currently in production, promising to unwrap the inspiring story of Milton S. Hershey—the visionary founder of The Hershey Company—and his beloved wife, Catherine "Kitty" Hershey.
About the Film
Directed by Mark Waters (of "Mean Girls" fame), "HERSHEY" stars Finn Wittrock as Milton Hershey and Alexandra Daddario as Catherine Hershey. The film will chronicle Milton’s journey from repeated business failures to building a chocolate empire, as well as his and Kitty’s lasting impact on education and community through the founding of the Milton Hershey School.
“We’re excited to bring Milton and Kitty Hershey’s story to the big screen, highlighting not just their business triumphs but their commitment to social good,” said the production team.

Principal photography began in May 2025, with scenes shot across Pittsburgh, Harmony, Smithfield, and Ligonier. The film is produced by Dandelion Media in partnership with Hershey entities and is set to premiere in 2026—perfectly timed with America’s 250th anniversary!
